The Designer is expected to design a visually attractive and beautiful web site for a web app that will be marketed well to the mass market and seen by many people.

The web designer will take Management's creative concepts/ideas and translate them to images and html/css, this is regarding the relatively static pages of the web site (the designer is to add their own creative touches as well). The designer will then work with the programming and development team in integrating ones work in the dynamic pages, where the Designer is responsible for creating icons/buttons and expected to provide input regarding the design of the overall GUI.

The web app is a highly interactive web service so some training will be provided on how to design sites that have simple and clean user interfaces, so the designer must show passion and a strong desire to learn and improves ones craft.

Required:

Excellent Web Design and Graphic Design skills
*

Show in portfolio ability of XHTML/CSS “tableless” design methods.
*

Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator.
*

Good instincts for making simple, intuitive user interfaces
*

Skills that are up to date and current in web design best practices.
*

Flash banner design abilities
*

Experience and applied knowledge in corporate branding and identity.
